Lightspeed is a global commerce platform that provides point-of-sale and eCommerce solutions for retail, hospitality, and golf businesses. Known for helping independent businesses thrive in a digital world, Lightspeed’s offices reflect their commitment to innovation, connectivity, and functional design.
For their new Berlin location on the second floor of the B on Revaler Straße in Mitte, ME-made delivered a full Consultation, Design, and Build service. The project began with a consultation phase, during which Lightspeed presented three potential sites. ME-made produced test fit layouts for each location to evaluate how well each space could support Lightspeed’s design vision and operational needs.
Once the site was selected, the design phase focused on creating a layout with open-plan workspaces, closed meeting rooms, a town hall-style communal space with a kitchen, bar, and open lounge areas, all in a clean black-and-white colour palette. In the build phase, ME-made adapted existing telephone zones to create private phone rooms, integrated additional lighting using the DALI system, and delivered a tailored, flexible environment that supports collaboration and comfort.
