For the company Köster, which undertakes construction or renovation projects in northern Germany, a modern office with a view over Hamburg was created, characterized by accents in the corporate colors red and white.
The first impression at the new Köster office, located near Hamburg’s main train station, is striking. A white reception desk with the distinctive Köster red logo sends visitors a clear signal: this is the best address for your construction projects. The modern style of the office, located above the rooftops of the Hanseatic city, extends throughout all the company’s office spaces from the ninth to the twelfth floor. Open workspaces with height-adjustable desks alternate with individual offices. Variously sized, traditional meeting rooms complement meeting islands with comfortable sofas. For uninterrupted work or phone calls, phone booths are installed in the open-plan office areas, seamlessly blending into the modern look of the office with their design featuring light wood, plenty of white, gray, and glass. Additionally, ceiling-high shelves with wooden accents, offering ample storage and serving as room dividers in larger office spaces, structure the rooms. The modern impression is further enhanced by a partially exposed concrete ceiling and extensive use of glass as partitions for meeting rooms. Plants in white planters throughout the office ensure a healthy indoor climate. The work areas are complemented by a cafeteria with a foosball table. The use of the corporate colors red and white, charmingly complemented by silver and dark gray accents in the flooring and furniture, is particularly convincing. The concept for the new Köster office, which accommodates 80 employees across four floors, was designed by the architects of ME-made GmbH from Berlin.
