Köster – New Work Office

Köster, a company handling construction and renovation projects across northern Germany, now works from a new office space high above Hamburg. The location near the main train station offers wide views over the city and a bold first impression. A clean white reception desk with the Köster red logo sets the tone for the entire space.

Across four floors, the design balances openness with functionality. Open-plan work areas with height-adjustable desks are paired with individual offices and traditional meeting rooms. More informal zones like sofa islands and phone booths add flexibility and comfort. Light wood, white and grey tones, and large glass surfaces create a bright, modern atmosphere. Vertical shelving with wood detailing helps organize the open spaces and adds warmth.

Exposed concrete elements and clear lines give the office a contemporary feel, while plants in white planters support a healthy indoor climate. A cafeteria with a foosball table adds a relaxed spot for breaks and informal exchange. Throughout the space, the Köster corporate colours of red and white appear consistently, accentuated by touches of dark grey and silver in the furniture and flooring. The office accommodates 80 employees and reflects both the precision of Köster’s work and the clarity of their identity.
