Hofmann 22 – Residential Living

In Munich, HOFMANN 22 brings together the many demands of urban living in one bold concept. Located in the former “Siemensstadt,” this centrally positioned residential development is turning into a new urban hotspot. With direct access to the Isar high banks, close proximity to the city centre, and essential everyday services like schools, daycares, and supermarkets nearby, HOFMANN 22 delivers what modern city living actually requires.

The site is being reimagined through a full renovation and upgrade of an existing building. Across five floors, ME-made GmbH has created a use concept that combines residential and commercial functions with smart design. A stylish loft, two industrial-style atelier houses, exclusive gallery apartments, and a retail space will all take shape here. This isn’t just about adding square meters. It is about delivering a flexible mix of uses that respond to the context and elevate the experience of living in the city.

Details matter. Stucco accents on the facade will tie the building into the surrounding historic streetscape. In the quieter backyard, two striking atelier houses with brick facades will frame a new courtyard and green play area. High-quality materials like wood plank flooring, fine stoneware, and exposed brick will carry through the interiors, while elements such as a glass elevator and large-format windows bring comfort and daylight into every corner. Whether it’s the vaulted basement loft, gallery apartments with rooftop terraces, or carefully refurbished classic apartments with wooden floors and generous balconies, HOFMANN 22 makes room for real-life variety. A ground-floor retail space adds another layer to the urban mix, rounding out a development that is grounded in architectural quality and built for how people actually live.
