BUILD PLAN CONSULT

DIHK Berlin

ME-made partnered with dan pearlman as subcontractors on DIHK’s office expansion project in Berlin. dan pearlman was responsible for selected design phases, while ME-made managed the full scope of the project, including consultation, planning, coordination, and delivery. The goal was to create additional office space, improve functionality by incorporating collaborative and practical design elements to enhance the working environment.
The concept included a mix of open and enclosed areas, with redesigned kitchens, larger private offices with shared communal tables, and various meeting rooms, including formal boardrooms for external clients. Staff feedback played a key role in shaping the final layout, leading to a balanced mix of privacy and openness. The design also incorporated phone booths featuring DIHK’s visual language, communication graphics on selected walls, and lockers for secure personal storage.
An upgraded lighting concept further enhanced communal areas, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that encourages interaction. From permit planning through to construction management and final handover, ME-made ensured that all details were carefully executed in line with both client expectations and local requirements, ensuring every detail supported DIHK’s evolving needs.
